Laura and Lukas’s Beautiful Wedding in Lleida, Spain
Laura and Lukas, a lovely Lithuanian couple living in the UK, met through mutual friends at a party—and the rest, as they say, is history. A year later, Lukas proposed during a holiday in Portugal, and soon after, the wedding planning began. With only 8–9 months to plan, they knew they wanted a simple, beautiful celebration with their closest loved ones in sunny Spain.
We had the pleasure of capturing their intimate wedding at La Baronia de Rialb, a stunning villa Masia Mas D'en Bosh in Lleida, Spain, surrounded by gorgeous fields, a lake, and a forest. It was the perfect location for their dream wedding.
The Wedding Style
Laura and Lukas were clear about what they wanted for their wedding: a mix of classic elegance with personal touches. They kept it simple with a minimalist vibe and a color scheme of whites, beiges, and soft greens for the flowers. The couple even went DIY with many details, including the florals. The highlight? Laura’s dried daisy bouquet, which was something unique and special to her.

The morning was a little stressful, but she found peace just before the ceremony and was emotional but incredibly happy throughout the day. A Ceremony with Meaning
The ceremony took place in the villa’s beautiful backyard, and it was incredibly personal. Their Lithuanian celebrant led the ceremony with traditional Lithuanian customs, but they also incorporated some lovely Spanish elements, creating a perfect mix of their two cultures.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued in the villa’s reception hall. They kept it simple but romantic, reusing the flowers from the ceremony for the table settings. For their first dance, they chose Golden Hour by JVKE—no choreography, just a beautiful, spontaneous moment. The entire reception was full of fun, thanks to their entertainer who kept everyone on their feet.
Instead of the traditional cake cutting, Laura decided to surprise everyone with a cake piñata—yes, a piñata filled with shots for the guests to enjoy! It was such a hit, and everyone had a blast. And instead of throwing the bouquet, Laura gifted it to her mother, a sweet gesture that added a personal touch to the day.
Wedding Advice from the Couple
Laura and Lukas have some great advice for couples planning their own wedding: “Do what feels right for you, whether it’s traditional or something completely unique. Don’t listen to others’ opinions, and remember to have fun!”
